In 1957, Rameshbhai A Patel and Jayantilal A Patel opened a small optical store on Relief Road in Ahmedabad. Gujarat was a different place then, and an optician who genuinely understood the eye, rather than one who simply handed over a pair of glasses, was rare. That clinical commitment is what set Nagar apart from the beginning, and it is what still distinguishes the practice three generations later.
